Las Vegas MLS Stats for May 4, 2007

This is the name of our local association, I thought I’d post the logo–I think it looks kind-a-cool!
The GLVAR is in charge of managing the local MLS, so here are the stats as of today, May 4, 2007.
The active listings for sale have increased by 172 homes to 24,300, nothing nicer than a even number I say! The number of active rentals have taken a turn the other direction, they are down 168 to a total of 3133. This could have lots to do with the first of the month but this is a very important number to keep an eye on in the coming months. I think we will see this number drop like a stone as we start to see an influx on new residents to the Valley.
I spent the day driving the Strip looking at property, it is just unbelievable what is under construction.
