Las Vegas MLS Stats for April 9, 2007
Since I have been in the process of changing to this new blog format I have not been good about posting and tracking the amount of active listings in the Las Vegas MLS system. You will notice a post from back in January that I have copied and placed here as a bench mark. As of today we are up to 23,337 active listings in the MLS in the Las Vegas, N. Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City areas. I know this has to be close to an all time high for us. I’m hoping to see a decrease in the coming months, I think we need to be down to around 18,000 active listings. I’m also going to start to keep an eye on the number of active homes for rent in our MLS system, today it is 3,153, this is not an area that I’ve been watching but I think it is going to be a number to watch in the coming months. In a later post I’ll go into more detail on why I feel this is such an important indicator of things to come.
