A Weekend in the Wine Country!
I’ve been away from the computer for the past week or so, but for good reason! I took a short weekend trip to California to see my family and we headed to the wine country! We spent the day at the 11th annual Kendall-Jackson Tomato Festival, it was a great time! I would highly recommend it to anyone, it sells out every year. It’s quite the concept, I’ve been to many street fairs and such but they are always loud, crowded and not always that much fun. The idea of limiting the number of guests to festivals makes a HUGE difference. There weren’t too many people, it was easy to sample the food, it was sunny, no lines……the best part, tomatoes & great wine! If you are thinking about making a trip to the wine country try to book your trip around this festival you’ll have an unbelievable time!
