2008 was a bit different than 2007 at the Las Vegas Cay Club, at least there were closings! Things are starting to close but the prices are still all over the board. Most of the closings are bank owned units; of the 33 that closed only 8 were short sales. I think we are going to see the same ratio in 2009 unless things change with the banks. One of the reasons for this is that Countrywide is not doing any short sales at the Cay Club properties due to the pending legal issues they are dealing with.
